A6: The concept behind the design of the TRIPP TRAPP® high chair is to bring children of all ages up to sit with their families at the dining table in a natural way, enabling participation, interaction and bonding. Stokke® does not make a tray for the TRIPP TRAPP® high chair. Trays sold by others are not authorized accessories. Q7. Does the TRIPP TRAPP® high chair comply with safety regulations? A7: Yes, the TRIPP TRAPP® high chair is safety certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) and meet US Highchair Standards ASTM F404-04 for children 6-36 months old. It features a 5-point harness; a baby rail is available as an accessory for younger babies. A8: The wooden baby rail attachment is not available in North America and is not compatible to the TRIPP TRAPP® high chair sold in the US. All over the world, different safety standards exist, and Stokke® offers solutions in most markets to meet local standards. For the US and Canada, we offer the machine-washable baby rail. Q9. Are the seat and footrest both adjustable on TRIPP TRAPP® high chairs? A9: Yes, TRIPP TRAPP® high chairs are adjustable to custom fit each child from 6 months old up to adults! Not only that the height is adjustable, but also the depth of the seat and footrest. Depth adjustability is crucial to allow the child to fully reach the footrest in comfort, and to utilize its benefits! Q10. How high from the ground can my child sit in his/her TRIPP TRAPP® high chair? A10: At the highest level, the seat of the TRIPP TRAPP® high chair measures 22” from the floor. It may not fit some kitchen counters/kitchen bars. Q11. How should I care for my TRIPP TRAPP® high chair? A11: A wipe with a soft, damp – not wet – cloth is all that should be needed to keep your chair clean. Wipe dry, do not leave any moisture. Do not use spray household cleaners as they may damage the finish of the chair. Q12. Can I order a 5-point harness for my KinderZeat® high chair? A12: The new 5-point harnesses are only available with TRIPP TRAPP® high chairs and are not available for purchase to add on to KinderZeat® high chairs. We do offer replacement parts. Q13. How do you adjust the length of the harness straps on a TRIPP TRAPP® high chair? A13: Simply feed extra strap fabric through the buckle attachments to form a loop of fabric on the front of the buckle. To secure the correct fit for your strap, ease the loop to make the harness either tighter or looser; a quick “pull” on the strap will lock the fabric in place in the buckle. A14: Adjusting the straps to have a snug fit using the directions above usually does a good job to secure the shoulder straps. If you have questions about the fitting, please call our Customer Service Department. A15: No, we do not recommend changing the harness system. Q16. How many colors do TRIPP TRAPP® high chairs come in? Q17. Is there a way to remove the label from the back of the seat? A17: Due to safety regulations the label must be visible to the consumer. |
