As a precautionary measure, STOKKE^® is taking voluntarily action and recalling certain foam mattresses sold with STOKKE^® SLEEPI™ Cribs. This is being executed in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), who was alerted by STOKKE^® concerning reports of some mattresses not fitting the crib properly.

It has been determined that some of the mattresses produced from July to November 2006 might not fit the crib properly, creating a small gap and posing an entrapment hazard to young children. STOKKE^® has proactively engaged and fully cooperated with the CPSC since the start of its investigation.

This recall only affects mattresses with marking number 2606 through 4806 appearing on the box and on the underside of the crib. Click here to see images of how these markings appear.
