STOKKE® XPLORY® Front Wheels

To Customers Who Purchased STOKKE® XPLORY®:

Thank you for using STOKKE® products. As part of our product upgrade policy, we wish to continuously upgrade all STOKKE® products to ensure maximum safety for the users.

We have become aware that some of the STOKKE® XPLORY® strollers produced before June 30, 2006 over time may develop reduction in the strength of the front wheel bolts.

The reduction in strength may cause the bolt to loosen during use and as a consequence the front wheels may loosen from the stroller chassis.

The only models affected have serial numbers from 1 to 27295 and 27698 to 28097.

Even though the strength reduction has been reported for a few strollers only which have been extensively used, we wish to inspect all strollers with the serial numbers stated above.

If you own a STOKKE® XPLORY ® stroller with grey handles, please check the serial number as shown in the picture above or ask the shop where you bought the product to confirm the place of the serial number on your product.

STOKKE® XPLORY® strollers equipped with white handles are of a newer version and NOT affected by this announcement.

 

 

If you have a STOKKE® XPLORY® stroller with serial number as stated above, please contact our Customer Service department to arrange for a free replacement of front wheels on you stroller.

Instructions for return of the STOKKE® XPLORY® chassis

  1. Enclosed are your materials to pack and ship the stroller back to STOKKE® UPS 3 Day Select.
  2. Collapse the stroller to the smallest position. 
  3. Remove the stroller seat and rear wheels (wheels optional).
  4. Place the stroller in the carton/wrap bubble wrap around handle bar. 
  5. Ensure packing materials are in the carton to protect the stroller to STOKKE®.
  6. Seal the carton with the tape provided.
  7. Contact UPS 800-742-5877 to schedule a pickup (select UPS option Send A Package)

Please do not send your stroller into our facility without a work order number issued by our customer service staff, this will ensure that you receive that highest level of service and that you receive your stroller back as quickly as possible.
