STOKKE® KEEP™ Safety Instruction
Read all instructions carefully before assembly and use of KEEP™ storage system. Follow them in detail to ensure that the safety features of the KEEP™ storage system is not compromised. Keep these instructions for future reference and save the Allen key for later use. Re-tighten all screws 2-3 weeks after assembly.
- Read through the instructions and follow them carefully to ensure your child’s safety. Store the Allen key in a safe place.
- Start by assembling the base and wall panels for the configuration you have selected.
- Set up the base on a flat surface.
- Using a level, adjust the base with the foot screws provided. The top panel must be leveled for the other parts to fit perfectly.
- Be aware of child safety when fastening the shelves. Our shelves use a combination of grooves, plugs and recesses to stop shelves from either tipping up or sliding out if the child holds on to them.
- Check that fittings and screws are properly tight. Loose screws and fittings are a hazard since the unit may fall over, perhaps trapping the child.
- Since STOKKE® KEEP™ is made of wood, do not place the unit near an open flame or other source of intense heat such as gas heater, electric radiation heater, or such-like.
- Do not use your STOKKE® KEEP™ if it has broken parts or if any pars are missing.
- Do not place your STOKKE® KEEP™ unit close to a window ledge or banister or similar, where a child can climb up using the unit and perhaps fall down.
- Fittings are provided for a range of assembly options. For that reason, please make sure that pieces not currently in use are stored properly. You may need them when you remodel the nit as your child gets older.
