We have recently purchased a second Tripp Trapp for our soon-to-be-born son. Our 6 y/o daughter has had the Stokke in red since she was about 6 months old and it has held up to our high expectations since.
While this high chair is not cheap it is an all time favorite for everybody, children and grown-ups alike. The kids love to sit on it, they even share it and sit side by side and us grown-ups love to sit on it too.
In 6 years it has not toppled over once, it is easy to clean and our children have always actively partaken in breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We highly recommend the Stokke - it will last you for many many years and the price at babyclub.com cannot be beat.
